Drumclog Plant has worked with Scottish Water for over ten years, delivering access and groundworks on some of the utility's most difficult sites. This project called for safe, reliable access along a sensitive loch-edge location.

Overview
The challenge
Scottish Water needed access works carried out along a sensitive loch-edge site with soft, waterlogged ground that standard excavators could not safely work without becoming bogged or damaging the surrounding habitat.
The solution
We mobilised our low ground pressure excavator fleet, spreading machine weight across wide tracks to work the loch-edge ground without sinking or churning the surface. The works were completed on programme with zero bogged machines and no environmental incidents.
