Our story
Established in 1972, Drumclog Plant has grown from a local plant operator into one of Scotland's most experienced specialist contractors. Along the way we've built a reputation for tackling the jobs others turn down, on the soft, boggy and sensitive ground where standard machines simply sink.
Today that means the UK's largest low ground pressure excavator fleet, a growing quarry and materials business, volumetric concrete, full civil engineering contracting, and environmental restoration work, plus a new click and collect materials store bringing the yard online.

How did it all start?
It started with one machine and one job in 1972. You took the work that came in, did it right, and the next job followed. That's still how it works.
What's changed the most?
The machines, and the ground we can get to now. But the idea hasn't changed — turn up, work hard and look after the customer.
What are you proudest of?
Building something the family and the folk here could carry on. That means more than any one job.
